Slack has a setting that allows me to automatically collapse all images and gifs that are sent, saving space in my window. If I want to see an item I can expand it. Or if nothing tlse at least the ability to collapse images at all.
This would improve user experience greatly. Please implement it!
Very helpful in a professional environment when you don't want clients/mgrs thinking you're just sending memes all day. Oh and much better from a UI perspective to give user a bit of control on presentation (read reduce visual distraction)
This is pretty essential.
By default the GIF's (which are great) are huge - which isn't the best look sometimes. If we could start with them being much smaller and then click to enlarge, it would certainly encourage more people to use them.
