Chat with myself
I can not chat myself.
I want to chat with myself.
This is very effective for my ideas and notes.
For the people suggesting OneNote: Please Stop. Why should I use a completely different tool for a completely different use?
I use Slack's self-message to copy and paste log-snippets, files and screenshots around between computers conveniently. I keep OneNote for organized note-taking.
Chatting with yourself should work by default. Microsoft consciously decided to block this for no good reason. Nobody ever heard of an email client stopping you from emailing yourself.

Even better i use this to send pictures to myself from my phone to my computer.... I could do this before through chatting with T-bot. but now you cant do that anymore.

"Chat with myself" is a lot more light-weight and delightful comparing with "launching OneNote -> choose a section -> choose a page -> decide whether to create a new section/page -> refreshing on another computer to sync" just to sync several lines of content from one computer to another.
Ditto. OneNote isn't sufficient for this. I also do this to preview how certain messages will format & display when I actually hit send (how links unfurl etc).

Slack has this and it is an awesome way to remind myself of stuff.
One note adds a lot of barriers for taking notes. I would like to be able to pop open my team's window and send myself a note.
Maybe would you consider OneNote for this?
