Entierprise Deployment .MSI That Installs Into C:\Program Files
Build an MSI that will install the Teams application into "C:\Program Files". Then any user that logs onto the computer can go to Start > Search for Teams > Launch Teams > Sign in to their account > Then Teams Builds the appropriate App Data folder for them.
This would be great for Enterprise Deployment. Some Enterprise project groups consist of 15-20+ people, and having an enterprise deployment solution would help speed up Microsoft Teams adoption.

Absolutely. Whoever came up with the idea to deploy an installer for user context, should stop sniffing glue and get help. SMH.
Totally agree. Why doesn't Microsoft merge this request with other similar requests and bundles the amount of votes? I have seen multiple similar requests on the UserVoice, such as this one https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/33853318-install-in-program-files-directory.
Until we have this, we will not deploy teams and hang on to "legacy" Skype for as long as possible (should apply to OS X too). We have 8,500 devices. 4500 of these are shared by 17,000 users who get a fresh profile every time they login! There needs to be a device based installation!

Apparently they've created one recently, as I had the same question myself and initially did not find it...then just did this past week. See:
It will install Teams for each new user that signs in to the computer, which accomplishes what I needed for our deployment.
