Microsoft Teams Desktop App vs. Mobile App
So Microsoft Teams is amazing right? We all use it we all love it.
Recently I had a customer who uses Microsoft Teams and loves it and actually trying to have his organization utilize it. Unfortunately, him and the employees were given iPads so they are all using mobile version of Microsoft Teams. This is one of the biggest struggles and customer even thinking about moving to SharePoint instead due to limited usage of Microsoft Teams on Mobile App unlike the Desktop App. For example, having to open every tool added on a browser instead of right on Microsoft Teams such as, OneNote. Not being able to upload files unless they are put into the conversations section which they prefer not due to amount of pictures and data being shared they are worried that conversation tab would end up becoming files tab.
Customer is worried he is having the employees go through too many steps by using Microsoft Teams and defeating the purpose of being able to utilize all these great tools since they either will open on the browser separately or they have to make extra effort to organize the conversations tab by archiving files added there on Desktop App under files because conversations getting crowded with files.
