Schade dass für MacOS keine vollwertige MSOffice-Version angeboten wird. Erst ein "verkrüppeltes" Excel, ein nicht vorhandenes Access und jetzt Teams ohne Hintergrundeffekte. Bitte nachrüsten! Vielen Dank

Can we please have a blur function for teams on Mac devices - especially now schools are requesting it for children attempting to 'home learn' whilst COVID-19 restrictions are in place in England. I thought this may be due to the iMac being a few years older than the MacBook, however neither have this facility!

The background blur on iMac was enabled, but it was gone on the next day. Even though it was there, it won't allow me to use any other filters - only blur. The Microsoft Team for iMac - maybe on other computers too - has the messed up participant profile icons. Please fix those bugs and give us iMac-ers the background filter feature back.

on a MAC with AVX1.0 does allow background blur with the keyboard shortcut Command-Shift-P. However, the background folder with picture files for custom background is disabled and no background picture is allowed to be selected. I have checked the image storage location and there are files there, but they do not show up in the list. Blur works at least.

Background blur is not working for me on 2011 iMac with High Sierra and Teams v1.3.00.8663, but is working on new MBP 16 with Catalina and Teams v1.3.00.4460. Tried to download newer version of Teams on iMac, but can't seem to find it.

I've found that this feature works only on computers equipped with Advanced Vector Extension 2 (AVX2) graphics.

I dont't have the background blur option for my team 1.3.00.8663 on my macOS High Sierra 10.13.6.
I've try to update Team and it says I'm running with the latest version.
Does this feature is platform dependent ? -
