auto hide sidebar should hide after choosing channel/team
When the side bar is on auto-hide (when window is sized to a smaller width), once a Team channel is clicked, the sidebar should auto-hide again.

Yes, we need to be able to Auto Hide all those past Chats without manually hiding each one! Who has time for that and why is Teams so darn "busy" and in-your-face, it is visually overwhelming to see all this extra junk. My past conversations are ridiculous to see every time I pop up the Teams app-get rid of them once my conversation has ended! Yes, if someone pings me that person/group can show up again, but get them gone until the next chat. Frustrated and every time I have to manually hide a chat I think negatively of Teams (Microsoft) which is several times a day because the visual messiness and truly unnecessary clutter EVERY time I want to chat. Where is the K-I-S-S mentality? For me I want to KISS Teams goodbye!

Sorry meant to say, I get around it by using the filter option at the top of the TEAMS channel and therefore only show 1 team. But this is a hassle and sometimes you could forget. Please add, must be a simple fix

i agree this needs to be in place. Because when you show things like MS Planner, you have to share the whole screen and so this could have implications with data security, especially when working with multiple clients.

Even better would be to allow user to shrink or hide the window - even getting rid of it all together is better than having it take up most of the screen esp. when it's shrunk - the way I use it because I have other windows open that are just as important.

Also, once Chats and any other sidebar elements are clicked on.

Yep, not sure why it isn't just adjustable completely but autohide is the next best option and it would still not be great but better-than-nothing = don't make it so freakin huge

Agreed. Please add sidebar hiding options much like OneNote or Visual Studio or VS Code.

The Teams/Channels menu should have viewing options much like the menus in OneNote.
I am on a 13inch screen and I'd love to be able to minmise the channels menu.
The expand tab button does a similar job, but it also expands over the other tabs.

As a JAWS user I agree, also make it simpler to navigate between conversations using JAWS, using Control + F6 several times is not a typical keystroke. But it does get you there after a while of pressing it. Note, that there is the option to toggle between contacts is confusing, maybe set that on another tapb... Then pressing tap one time to interact with list of recent chats and then down arrow to read names of conversations, not very intuitive. Also I would say there is a lot of verbage that needs to be cut off.
I guess if I was to jump in to the chat list with F6 this would be find then just use down arrow to read chat list would be nice, but there is no restrictions to limit movement. It is confusing when you end up in conversation.
I think it would be nice to use H for headings then navigate up and down the same way in to conversations, but only if you can restrict navigation. Maybe one does not have to see conversation, but the chat list. Once one is done with chat list close it, meaning that you only see one, the chat list or the conversation. -

Very much agree. The screen is needlessly cluttered with this permanently eating up real estate for something I'm not using 80% of the time. Allow it to hide/reveal auto or manual to give back screen space to the actual task.
