For the meeting invitation generated by Teams Meeting add-in in Outlook, we need to be able to select the invitation language. Outlook is configured in one language but it doesn't mean that all my meetings in Teams will be in that language and that others can read my default language. (At least Skype for Business had an option to use Outlook's language or optionally English)
Thanks for providing feedback on this issue. The work is officially on the backlog now. We’ll update when we have more details to share.
Same here, we were also pushed to move to MS Teams. Why is this feature not implemented by default.

Unbelivable that this functionality is still missing by August 2019! We were forced by Microsoft and had been upgraded from Skype for Business to Teams automatically, in June 2019. Our 2200 employees, working with external partners from all over the world are absoloutley unhappy to miss the ability to change the language of their Teams invitations into english. Instead Teams is using the Office language.
Opening a Ticket at https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home#/homepage won't get Microsoft to act, instead they reffer to this uservoice...
We also need this asap!
I fully agree. We must be able to change the language for Teams meeting invitations.

the option to change the language is a mandatory feature before switching from Skype Enterprise to Teams..
we need it also urgently !!!
I also would like to change the language of theTeams meeting invitation..
fully agree. Skype and Outlook have similar features to "force" these things to be in English even it application is used in a local language. Very much needed.

And to set the invite language via Teams Admin Center for whole organisation.
This is a verry important feature for a customer before they want to migrate from Skype4B to Teams.

Doing International projects, it is very important to have the option to select the invitation language. This should not be very difficult to implement..
Hey, this is a hugh problem for international meetings because now we're sending events in german to our employees in asia or usa ...
This feature was available in Skype and was very convenient,
have a great day

I have the same issue. My english speaking customers do not understand the description of the local phonenumbers link and think they have to call the German number.

In our organisation the default language is Dutch, but we schedule a lot of Teams Meetings with English speakers. It makes no sense that the invite is only in Dutch. Specifically people that haven't used Teams before, will tend to ignore it / not understand it. It happens a lot that our team is waiting in the Teams call for the other party to join, who will then just call us by landline because they did not understand the invite.
We need to be able to select invitation language for Teams Meeting in Teams client too.
We also need this feature to change the invitation language.
Microsoft pushes the users to move form Skype for Business to Teams.
Without this option to switch the invitation language it's a No-Go for many users.

When you send invitation to Teams meeting via Outlook, invitation is described in Outlook/Windows language. Scenario is: not native English speaker with Outlook in one language (e.g. Czech) sends invitation to other user with different language (e.g. German). For email invitation is used English, but Teams invitation is send in Czech language to German user. Is it possible to make translation for receiver in his Outlook language or make possible to choose language invitation before sending (change from Czech to English). Possibility to change it to English as only option would be good enough for start.
