For the meeting invitation generated by Teams Meeting add-in in Outlook, we need to be able to select the invitation language. Outlook is configured in one language but it doesn't mean that all my meetings in Teams will be in that language and that others can read my default language. (At least Skype for Business had an option to use Outlook's language or optionally English)
Thanks for providing feedback on this issue. The work is officially on the backlog now. We’ll update when we have more details to share.
Even if the client is in English, the meeting invitations are in the system language, so it cannot be so complicated Microsoft.
A one-step translation of Teams invitations is a no-brainer. What is holding this up? We operate in French but communicate with the rest of the world in English...

Any update on when this will be fixed? Last one is from January 2020.

You need to be comfortable working with hyperlinks. I create the meeting request and when the link pops up, I cut & paste it so it appears twice (see attachment). They are simply hyperlinks, so I change the text on one of the links to reflect the other language.

Hello, we have the same issue here. We work in a bilingual company with clients that only speak 1 of the languages. It's seen as an insult if we don't use their native language.
Please find a solution to this simple issue.

Working with Microsoft Teams is kinda funny.
You feel like you are working with a start up which is gathering user feedback to get better.
Okay, that isn't really funny, but considering, that things like seeing your own video in a conference in an adequate size (like it is possible in Skype) and changing the invitation language in outlook (like it is possible in Skype for Business) - why would you leave out such simple features and take forever to get them running?
Hello, I see no updates on this... is it being considered somehow?

Missing this feature. This needs a higher priority. Please update the status from January 14.
Still also missing this feature. This needs a higher priority!!!!

Within the Canadian Federal Government employees are allowed to work in the official language of their choice (English or French). So meeting invitations created in Outlook are often sent to a mix of people with differing language preferences. The tenant admin should be able to change the text of the Join link in meetings to be a custom text string, for example a bilingual one for all meeting invitations.
Still missing this feature. This needs a higher priority!

Agreed, easy language changing or multi-language support i.e. tick a box to get invites in English and French, or Swedish and Finnish. All the languages are there, we just need a way to use them!
we need this.
There is a very easy workaround for this. Please contact me directly (email@example.com) and we can discuss.

Hopefully this will be pushed. We are required to provide communication in both official languages of our country - it is a mandate law and protected by our charter of rights. Hoping that the onboarding of 200k users over the coming months would change this priority.
I have the same issue also: local language invitation can't be understood by may of my contacts
