For the meeting invitation generated by Teams Meeting add-in in Outlook, we need to be able to select the invitation language. Outlook is configured in one language but it doesn't mean that all my meetings in Teams will be in that language and that others can read my default language. (At least Skype for Business had an option to use Outlook's language or optionally English)
Thanks for providing feedback on this issue. The work is officially on the backlog now. We’ll update when we have more details to share.
Maybe you can make it an option in the Administrator part of the MS Teams tenat. The company can select the languages they prefer from a list. The users will get an invitation in outlook with company supported languages.
It would be better that the end user is in control for selection the languages but that is maybe more difficult to program because you have not all language packs installed on a PC/laptop.
I hope we, as user community, can see this change before July 2021. We are waiting already serval years now, it is time to take action.
Thanks in advance MS, keep up the good work.
The work is supposed to be in the backlog since January 2020, but nothing has changed.
I'm working in 3 different languages and I already experienced issues with non-English speaking people. How is it that Microsoft has not yet understood that with globalization, you need to be able to interact with people from different countries.
Not everyone understand the followings here below, especially when you are stressed because it's conference time and you are late trying to connect.

Agree: ability to chose language on demand is very important!
Ablility to chose or select on demand the message /invitation language is MANDATORY.
Teams is used all over the world and invitation is the what attendees will have to connect... if they don't undersdtand how to connect it is a shame.
I can't understand that is not implemented yet.

This a must have feature, and should not require much effort to implement it.
As a somehow working hack: When Outlook is used in a non English language, the Outlook Teams add in language DLL folder can be temporarily renamed, Outlook restarted and new invitation created (needs to be done twice, somehow the 1st invitation will be in the previous language, must be some caching there). This will result an English language Teams meeting invitation.
we absolutely need this feature ASAP. Especially for countries like Canada, and all other countries with with more than one official languages. This is a must that might have been implemented right out of the box. I don't understand why this feature is still not...
The option was available in Microsoft Lync 2010 (old version Team).

Such a basic thing. Please fix asap!
Still no news on this? It is really frustrating having to change all of our Office apps into our language so that the meeting invite is sent in English.
I think, for most of us, it would be enough only with having the option of sending the invitation in English, apart from our main languange
Any updates? that feature was there with the skype business add-on before switching to Teams.. Thanks!
Any news about this? We do experiencing some issues with the language while non francophone people get the invitation. Thank you,

Also asking. Of course if converted automatically in respect of the receiver's language would be much better, but still at least possibility to choose from preinstall languages is fine. Thank you.
Yes, please add this feature!

I have the same problem - I have UA localization, but formal language is English, so I would like to send invites in English

Language selection is very important. Please assign it to high priority.
Is there any news on this? It would be very helpful (and appear much more professional) if the language of the invite that's put in the e-mail could be changed. I myself have a Dutch installation of Office but I need to plan meetings in English, French or German. It's strange to send this Teams meeting invite in Dutch to people who don't understand this.
My idea is that you can maybe implement a "right-click" system as you do when you want to use a different signature, in which a user can choose different languages that can be used?
A lot of global companies use global common language to work with colleagues in other countries. I think selecting a language is really important when sending meeting invitation at TEAMS.
One year passed after it was in the backlog, we still have not this function.

This is very important for a global company. Please priorise this!
