delete search history
Option to delete search history
Typical Microsoft to have you do it their way rather than being able to do simple things and/or customize. I wouldn't use Teams (or MS Office, or Outlook, or...) if I didn't have to.
Here's the workaround to clear all of the cache from Microsoft Teams.
Quit Microsoft Teams. Right-click the icon and select Quit.
Cut and paste the following location(s) into File Explorer: %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams.
Delete the contents of the entire folder.
Restart Microsoft Teams.
why cant i change my profile pic D: smh
I definetely agree, that should be an option that allow you to does not show the history every time that you search!

Sign-out from the app should clear the search history. Sign-in back in. Alternatively, you can uninstall the app and clean some files from AppData and re-install.
I searched for something within my organisation that is completely appropriate for me to search for but is PRIVATE. I do not want this showing up as a search term any time I'm using my computer in front of a colleague.
i searched an innopropiate word and it wont stop showing it as a suggestiion

This feature is still not available. When do you think this feature will be incorporated in teams?
Yes, please. I searched for part of a conversation with one employee. When I search now, in front of other people, they can see the thing I searched for before, and they shouldn't be able to see that.
This feature should be mandatory
