Make it easier to see new messages in a thread
When there are new messages inside a thread we only get a number telling us there are X new messages and even that disappear when we expand the thread. It would be nice if there was an indicator in the thread like the line that gets placed outside the thread.

What I'd like to see is the show messages in thread link to open only the most recent, new messages, not the whole thread. If there is a thread with 100 messages and there are 5 new ones you'll get notified about these 5, but when you open the thread you have to scroll down to get to the actual new messages.
