Users added to team line removed
In each general channel a new line gets created for all new users added to a team. Can this line be removed?
As an example I setup a team and get some posts ready for welcome messages and introductions, then when I add groups of people, after a few lines all my messages have pushed up and off the screen.
We have one specific team for all in the business and all the threads are getting lost as we add each department/individuals one by one.

Thank you for your feedback! To improve the message pane in General channels, we have moved system messages to our info pane. For details see https://support.microsoft.com/office/show-channel-info-in-teams-61c3319d-a2c0-4b60-99b9-3226b9e248f9.

How about making it a new (collapsed) section in 'Options -> Manage Team -> Members'..? This is where I would expect these messages.

Would love to have this ASAP. If you have people leave the company, it is easily evident whether you want it to be or not! And, as said below, I have to continually keep re-adding the same announcement because it moves up above the viewing area when people come and go.

Why is this under review? It was announced in MC215375 that this was done. Is it not? Why are these announcements so incredibly vague?

This is such an annoying thing indeed, especially for popular channels with most of the company... message sink away directly

This is awesome news! I would hope that there would still be a fairly easy way for admins to see the data (audit trail like).

Oh My!!!! since September 2018 they are still reviewing this....
Come on MS, you were always serving the Corporations and should have clear picture about all these should/could/would be needed controls.
we need certain info for certain users only. is this rocket science??
Why so long.. is internally TEAMS not being used to Plan, Update and Collaborate? DO you show every Status and Every action to everyone.. is that king of transparency maintained without keeping any moral/obligation and resentments amongst the teams and organization.

Adding my name in to the request. Please get this removed. Seeing these messages does not do well for morale in the class team or staff teams. It is also confusing for team owners to see themselves or other owners adding or removing users when the team is constructed using a dynamic group.

Please implement this, the messages make troubles to the group.

It is extremely demoralizing for a music teacher (all of my students CHOOSE my class and must choose it EVERY year) to see the names of kids that have quit my program in the general channel feed. And now my whole class can see that as well, since the first day of school is tomorrow?? So when they see who has quit in a big banner on the general channel feed they'll want to quit too?? THANKS MICROSOFT FOR HELPING COVID KILL MY PROGRAM.

It's now August, and on a standard tenant. These notifications are still populating in the general channels. The update to teams was expected to be rolled out by the end of July. When should we now expect this to be implemented?

Adding another name to the long list of people that want to hide these posts from the General Conversations tab. They are aggravating.

its hard to continually battle our users to use teams and adopt it as a standard, when teams is falling behind on simple features such as this.

Seriously, what's the hold up on this? This issue has been going on for months, if not years. Nobody wants to see a persistent list of people added / removed from the team or otherwise not employed at our organization anymore.

Please add a setting to 'disable' notifications when a member leaves a team. This creates too much noise when leaving a team can be the outcome of several changes within an organization.

Does it really take two years to fix this? How much intertwined code was used to add a simple text message in Teams, to justify this delay?

Thanks Alex. Hopefully this is not too complicated to update.
Our company is choosing to adopt Microsoft Teams (~100 employees in one division) and this already has come up as an annoying feature for large teams. We want to disable this posting. I can imagine any larger firms with huge Teams to manage would be extremely annoyed....
To be clear, it should be for flexible for all these message postings related to member activity. Joining, adding, leaving, removing, changing from owner to member or member to owner. Make a setting in the Manage Channel area to allow the owners of a team/channel to turn all or some of these "postings" off.
