Users added to team line removed
In each general channel a new line gets created for all new users added to a team. Can this line be removed?
As an example I setup a team and get some posts ready for welcome messages and introductions, then when I add groups of people, after a few lines all my messages have pushed up and off the screen.
We have one specific team for all in the business and all the threads are getting lost as we add each department/individuals one by one.

Thank you for your feedback! To improve the message pane in General channels, we have moved system messages to our info pane. For details see https://support.microsoft.com/office/show-channel-info-in-teams-61c3319d-a2c0-4b60-99b9-3226b9e248f9.

Just spent time trying to figure out how to remove this clutter from a channel. It isn't possible. Could you just set up an admin channel that contains these type of change notices and other similar notices. This request has been open for over two years with no action. Please Microsoft hurry up.

Please make this available! My entire class does not need to know every time someone creates/deletes a channel, makes a minor change, or people are added/removed, etc. It's visual clutter and a useless feature. Please, please amend.

Definitely an issue with Teams announcing an employees termination - employee privacy is a major concern. Stirs things up quite a bit across the organization when it happens.
Just look at the UserVoice Terms under General #3. "You are responsible for using the Service in a private and secure manner."
There is nothing private about removing someone from a Team. If this is part of Microsoft's T's&C's, it should be part of their software as well.

LETS GO ALREADY! Seriously! This issue is coming up on two years now! Geez!

Nothing more frustrating when an employee's termination is automatically announced to the business before the manager can talk to their team about it

Voting to disable the note to all users that someone has been added or removed. Employee privacy is one factor - both from an onboarding/new user or an exiting employee perspective.

I'd vote 1,000 times for this if I could. It would make General so much more useful as a locked down channel for Team-wide announcements, etc.

Must be fixed earliest. So many people with all the valid reasons.

This functionality and control is sorely needed for all the reasons people have already mentioned. Thank you

We have exactly the same issue. Our communications are completely lost among a list of unnecessary add-on notifications.
The discussion thread thus becomes illegible and anything but ergonomic... -

We too had an employee pass away. Having this pop up that he was "removed" from the team was a painful process for many that seemed very unnecessary.

We currently have a member of a team who has passed away unexpectedly and is getting notifications from a team still. We need to remove them but having a big message saying X has removed y from the team seems heartless. The sooner you remove this the better.

These notifications are annoying, and serve no purpose. I'm waiting for the day an account is terminated before person finds out personally. This is overdue, and needs implemented asap. With Covid and WFH, Teams has more use then ever, and these are immediately visible to the entire company.

Added and removed adds so much spam, and could potentially give away that someone is being terminated before the termination has occurred.

Please process this post-haste. This feature is only of value to administrators and the more spam that the user community receive the less likely they are to want to use Teams

Is there any chance that Microsoft listen to users'psychology and understand the the basics of ergonomics?

Actually although I complained about it previously, the list of new people/people leaving is useful for governance reasons, but maybe the info could be stored/accessed via the Owners Manage team menu... instead of the general channel. Just a thought - thanks :)

To remove both users added and removed lines.

Would be great to be able to pin post, so that they alway show on the in the general tab, at the top of the overview.
