Users added to team line removed
In each general channel a new line gets created for all new users added to a team. Can this line be removed?
As an example I setup a team and get some posts ready for welcome messages and introductions, then when I add groups of people, after a few lines all my messages have pushed up and off the screen.
We have one specific team for all in the business and all the threads are getting lost as we add each department/individuals one by one.

Thank you for your feedback! To improve the message pane in General channels, we have moved system messages to our info pane. For details see https://support.microsoft.com/office/show-channel-info-in-teams-61c3319d-a2c0-4b60-99b9-3226b9e248f9.

very annoying and not good for morale due to turnover

My main concern with this is that when people are let go, you then have to go into the Team and potentially remove them, showing this notification, and further bringing down morale.

This could be useful when you add members in error and would like correct that.

I will echo this- Removing through office admin portal does NOT remove users silently.

Very annoying especially for the all-company teams with over 1200 employees

Create a setting to turn off "Member joined the team" and "...removed Member from the team" posts in the General channel.

Please fix this, this should be channel config. IT should be able to config this and delete the logs.

This is a huge issue for us.
Please implement this feature, the company is getting spammed with messages in our "main channel". -

I would also like this issue to be addressed

Removing through Office 365 admin portal does NOT remove users silently. I just tried that and a post was added automatically to the conversation. This would be an important feature.

Alla som läggs in i Teams syns i listan (Allmänt) och det kan bli väldigt många aviseringar som stör flödet i Teams. Går det att ta bort?

The absence of this capability makes frequently updated teams unusable. Please fix!

I agree the clutter of users coming and going defeats the real purpose of the page.

Super useful with the new company wide channels. For example, sometimes IT have the need to create an account for a new VIP user before announced to the business. It's not so secret if any AD user gets added to the team visibly..

We have a number of Teams where the General channel is locked for owners to post only and this is great.
However this team also has a large amount of people joining, so the owners soon get hidden by "John Smith has joined the team" or "owner has added John Smith to the team".
An option to hide, shrink, or collapse these join notification would be great. Maybe a button to click to see who has joined recently.

All Teams are also Office 365 Groups listed in the Admin Portal.
If you remove the user from the Admin Portal, it does not create a notification in the channel.
The removal is not immediate, but it is silent.

Confidentially remove a team member from a channel without the notification showing in the team channel. Ability to delete this, like you can delete or edit a comment.
