Screen Sharing greyed out for external contacts
Looks like there is no way to share my screen with someone outside my organization. The dedicated button is just greyed out.
Teams shows the following message in the chat window: "... is outside your organization. Some Teams features won't be available"
We have been using Skype for years and working with partners who are on Teams and the screen share for external users does not work, regardless of what we allow in the external users section under org-wide settings.
This should be a priority if you want migration to Teams

What a shame ! IVe to send teams invite to share files or screen.... It is only allowing to chat. Even emoticone are not supported.

We have a new CIO who is keen to deploy Slack. Without desktop sharing for external/federated users, Teams is useless. We may as well abandon Teams and deploy Slack.

Sharing with an external user was so easy in Skype.
WIth the Skype into Team integration this has become much harder. i.e.
start the chat to see if they have time to look at something real quick,
get the chat confirmation they can,
go to calendar, choose schedule meeting,
set time to current time,
add vendor you just chatted with and save meeting.
Join the meeting you just created and wait for the vendor to receive the email invite to they can join the meeting too,
you now can share the screen.
chat with vendor if they are available,
receive confirmation they are,
click on "share" button and done
This would be a welcome enhancement that Skype already easily accomplished.
Right now I can't even share a screenshot with an external user. WTH???

Why is this? Seems like it would be very useful. Can all features be turned on for external contacts or does it make sense to just go back to using Slack?
