Add Text Replacement in MAC OS X Teams
Skype for Business and other application have text replacement options which are defined in MAC Keyboard shortcuts. I use this feature a lot with my custom text replacements.
Can we add this feature in Microsoft Teams in MAC OS X please?
I really need to be able to use the Mac text replacement within my work required web-based outlook. Every time I use short-hand and it does not spell it out as it does in any other program I curse the flaws of the MS gods. Better blessings than cursings if you want me to buy your products. Capitalism, right?

I use text-replace *mostly for handy access to oft-used unicode symbols (✔ ✘ ∃ ∄ § † ‡ µ) and its a little painful that it doesn't work in chat.
I would like this to work in the teams mac desktop client, but i would also expect behavioral consistency in the other msft products (outlook, word, ... even vsCode. none of which perform the mac's text-replace at this time).
If there WERE some kind of opt-in setting for teams, I'd sure appreciate it though
This is crucial, and a painful omission in daily work. This feature is built in to the operating system and seems like extra work must have been done to make it NOT WORK – please just use the standard OS text fields! For goodness sake it would make everything so much easier. Text Replacements specifically (but other autocorrect and dictionary and lookups and services to transform text etc, all those issues would also get solved.) Pretty please! :)

Would love this as well.

Note this works on the IOS app, just not the desktop version -- please add to the macOS desktop version!
Note that this works from the Web UI in Chrome+Mac OSX (probably because _Chrome_ supports it)

I need this as well.

Agreed! Please let this App have access to builtin macOS Text Replacements.
Please do this
