Create personal Microsoft Todo task right from a message in Teams
My colleagues often request the team to do things in a teams channel (eg collect data, fill out a form, find someone). Right now I can mark the message as unread, save it for later or copy a link and enter it into my ToDo list.
It would be great to create a personal task right from the message (or reply) in ToDo including the title, message and deep link to the post/message. This would dramatically increase productivity.
In case you'd like to provide additional value, create a drop-down-like picker which shows the individual ToDo lists of a user (e.g. learning, urgent, …) to avoid sorting of the tasks afterwards. The task will then be created in the selected list automatically.
Planner is not the right tool, because to me it's more like a central board to track team tasks from individuals while the mentioned approach above is for personal task tracking.
We definitely need this - since using Teams for more day to day communication I am missing things that I need to do.

At the very least, give us the option to flag the message and see it in To-Do in the flagged category, similarly to how Outlook already allows us.
I can understand why this isn't already here...I know I'm not the only one who is desperately looking for a way to create tasks from any type of message (chat, channel, activity feed, you name it) in Teams.
I might be looking at it from a wrong direction - if there's a more appropriate way to handle tasks, or a work-around, please let me know! Thanks!

We need this ! Create a TASK in Todo or Planner, from a Teams message
Any message, any chat, - in channel, personal ones and in particular activity feed items should have this option, - all GTD activists will be happy!

This would be very useful! Now I create tasks separately and save the message in Teams and/or copy the message url to ToDo. This definitely should be implemented in mobile Teams app too, if and when done; I am often on the go and receive messages I need to get back to later.
Oh! And not only channel messages, but chat messages as well.
