Show attendees list while sharing screen
When I'm sharing my screen as a presenter in a meeting, I lose the ability to see the meeting's attendees. This is annoying if people are coming in late, but I'm not able to see who has joined since I started sharing my screen. A simple notice when new people join or a way to see a list of who is in attendance would be great!
This is a huge problem when doing a Teams Live event. We want to monitor the number of attendees during a meeting. It takes 2 computers to be able to present on one and view number of attendees on another.

Not being able to switch presentations and seeing who is attending or making comments is frustrating. Please add this to the Desktop sharing area ASAP.

When running meetings being able to see the LIST of attendees when sharing your screen in the same fashion that the list shows when you are NOT sharing would be immensely helpful!!! Being able to expand the small video window that opens after you share your screen would also be helpful to see all in attendance and enable the tool bar within that window to expand the list of attendees!

I run meetings where it is very important for confidentiality that I have only certain people in the meeting. Also, when inviting comments from specific people, I can't tell whether they are in the meeting or not. These meetings have up to 50 attendees, so I'm constantly saying things like "Can Fred Bloggs, comment on that? Are you on the call Fred?" (pause). "Are you on mute Fred?" "Can someone check for me if Fred is on the call? No? How about Susan? Just a minute, so I can unshare my screen to see who is attending. Right. Ah, Matthews here: Matthew, you work with Fred and Susan. Can you comment? And now I'll just share my screen again so Matthew can see the slide again".
It's RIDICULOUS. Please fix this: I want to be able to see a list of attendees. Zoom can do it, no problem.
As a teacher, this is a nightmare, you have no idea what the participants are doing.

Yes. The feature will be very helpful while on Team meeting.
Ditto. This functionality would be really useful right now. It's annoying that I can't see the users on the call while sharing the desktop.
I second this. We have daily huddles using a shared screen in boardrooms, and would be really nice to know when late parties have joined. Workarounds below aren't always possible

Amen, I have also had this same problem. Another workaround is to use a secondary monitor with the attendee view visible there.

Workaround: Use Companion Mode with a second device to show the list (https://twitter.com/jdata1/status/1129236261150121985).
