Guest registration for live events
We have trouble introducing the live events feature if not every attendee is known. A solution would be, that additionally to the live event option "organization wide (registration required)" potential external viewer could register for the event, similar to the "Guest" registration for a team. So we can invite internal and external users and ensure that every viewer is known with name and email.

With the importance of adhering to State Laws about social distancing, how can you NOT have an MS Team meeting registration/RSVP feature?????

So how am I to know how many people have registered for this event?
How am I know when we're at the room's capacity based on spreading out the chairs?
How am I to let folks know that they cannot join this meeting so they don't form a long line in the hallway...again, no social distancing.
How am I to contact trace if there is no registration list .csv?

Por favor que no sea requerimiento obligatorio el correo. que contenga un apartado o cuestionario donde la persona pueda ingresar sus datos, una vez dentro de la reunión.
Es indispensable que no complique el ingreso a la reunión/evento
C'mon, Microsoft. Give this feature request the priority it deserves. You are behind all your competitors on implementing this. Rather than cute "together mode" features, please focus on these critical, lacking operational features.
Registration facilities for Teams live events/webinars is needed urgently.
Otherwise my company wants to use other tools - WebEx, Zoom etc.
Please add that functionality.

Yes, Registration for the attendees are very much required, else using Zoom, GotoWebinar is an option

We are trying to cancel our GoToWebinar licences, but because of the lack of this feature, we can't cancel all. With the Public security setting, external users can spread the link over the world without any limitation. And usually they do... I hope the 300 to 1000 attendee expansion and the hard mute option will come soon (before the school will start in September) to Teams Meeting, and that could be a workaround for this issue.

Registration with custom optional or required fields. Confirmation, reminder, and post event email with recording (if available). Attendees join via a unique link found in the registration confirmation email.
If Microsoft isn’t willing to have a registration feature I guess we can all start using Zoom. Their webinar feature has full registration and a direct integration with Hubspot to capture attendee information for afterwards.

A registration form is a must n crucial. It must be optional for the organizer to enable it n define its fields. Entry code is another option that may be added, as well.
Make changes to Bookings so we can use this for specific scheduled "webinar" events. The Bookings page becomes an RSVP page.

I am also looking for this feature. Attendee should register account before attend to the event.
This is the only feature stopping us from using Teams for our webinars. Currently still paying to use other platforms because this one feature is missing

Maybe this could be integrated with Microsoft Bookings somehow? I'm using MS Bookings to try to manage this currently, but it is presenting challenges.
This is a really important feature and needed to displace products live goto webinar and Webex meeting centre.

Guests Registration option along with poll option is so important for webinar that I don't know how a platform like this even existing for so long without these features. Kindly add these most essential feature as soon as possible.
