Add a "Raise Your Hand" feature in meetings
When in a meeting with multiple people it would be nice to have a way to signal that you would like to speak so that you can be called upon by the meeting organizer.
This would allow users to show they have something to say, but they do not want to interrupt

We are happy to announce the general availability of this feature for Windows, Mac & Mobile devices.

How do you see the feature ? Is there anything you need to do specifically?

Great.
Can we start a meeting with all participants muted and only the meeting host can take them off mute?
Also, can participants calling in on the phone (conference bridge) raise their hand as well (i.e. can they press a number key on their phone to raise their hand?

When will it go to the GCC tenant?

I would also appreciate it if it was a shortcut so we don't have to hunt for it during a meeting

Do you have an update on when the raise hand feature will be live? Originally the roll out date was 4/30/20.

We really need this feature in the online classroom situation, and along with that, the ability to also unmute someone.
I work in a school with students from 5 years old and they are forever fiddling with their mics, so I mute them. It then takes some time for them to understand that they need to unmute themselves if they get asked a question. Often they need to go call their parents to come to help them - which is not ideal. If the presenter had that ability, it would help a *lot*. -

There should be also a notification for the presenter when someone raises his/her hand.

Our organisation would also benefit of this feature
So annoying when we're like 10 and + in a meeting

This will allow smooth transition from other meeting places e.g. circuit.
