Add a "Raise Your Hand" feature in meetings
When in a meeting with multiple people it would be nice to have a way to signal that you would like to speak so that you can be called upon by the meeting organizer.
This would allow users to show they have something to say, but they do not want to interrupt

We are happy to announce the general availability of this feature for Windows, Mac & Mobile devices.

If you can't see "Raise hand" on mobile or tablet, try pressing the three dots (...) first.

Go to show participant: the people who've pressed "Raise hand" is being shown in the correct order here, from top to bottom. 👍

Agree that we need a queue to pop up for the host and/or presenter to manage raised hands in the order they were raised. Lord knows Teams loves to pop up the menu bar across the middle of screen shares and notification windows for everything happening in the chat window so one more item shouldn't be an issue. ;-)

Now have Raise Hand, but I agree with others - we need to know the order that people raised their hands in

Now its here - and of no real use!!!!
The order in which people raise hand is not visible and when conducting large meetings this is of essense. Today we ask prople to use chat to write "floor". This is inconvenient as it takes time for the participants to do. We also ask prople to use chat to write comments and questions during a meeting to allow a more efficient meeting. Providing good meeting mangement tools like a roster of who and in which order the raise hand is set would be extremely efficient. This could even be combined with automatic lowering of the hand when the person has taken the floor (controlled by the automatic focus by sound detection. Here it is important to remember that big meetings with up to 100 attendants or more requires everyone but the chair to mute until given the floor by the chair.
Maybe this requires a separate new UserVoice item???

Will a feature to add people with a raised hand to an orderes speaker list also be implemented? This would help the meeting organiser to keep track of who's turn it is to speak next.

Voice quality is poor and noisy. Put noise filter. Please add raise hand function to Ipad a.s.a.p. All your products are disappointment.

Agreed with the comment of Adriano Bess commented · May 14, 2020 14:48 ·"This feature is really great! It would be good to know the order in which people raised hand, so that the speaker can address raise hand concerns in a fair way, supposedly the order it was used by different people - could you add this as well?"
It is almost like "live event" control, that a bigger meeting organizer will have upon audience Questions and comments. -
