share chat history when adding third participant to a chat
When you add a third participant to a chat (i.e. convert it from a private chat to a group chat) you should be able to share the history of the chat, just like when you add a 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. to a group chat. Allow users to share, not share, share last X days, or select specific messages that should be shared.
I can see many times when I'd add a third person to an ongoing chat and would want to include the CHAT History.... Allowing this starting with a 4th person is great but why not get the option for any number beyone two in the Chat.

i agree. Most conversations between Cerner resoruces don't have any personal tone to them and if they do they can remain private. And on many occations it is not until you get into a topic that you determine you need one or more resrouices to drive forward or finalize. This feature should be allowed. If necessary you can have an authorize button that all the people on the chat can vote to add a new person to preseve privacy.
This would be an extremely helpful feature when passing off a task that started in a private chat. Asking the other party in the private chat for consent would be crucial to maintain confidentiality.

This is really something that should have already been taken care of, makes using Teams less of an a great customer experience. Hopefully Slack sticks around for a bit longer for our company.

I've been getting a lot of requests for this. When adding a 3rd participant, we would like the option to share the history from X hours/days so they're not able to see everything and keep the full history private.
