Ability to edit all messages
As the owner of a team, you should be able to edit all messages.

I'm using Teams in a classroom setting teaching MS Office. These are not traditional classes are continuously run. At any given time, I could have students working on Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
The student use teams to ask their questions and both Instructors and students have the ability to respond. New students use the chat log as a knowledge base or forum to get assistance during class or outside of school hours.
Any Instructors who are part of the Team are owners of the group. We have specific criteria for how questions should be asked to increase the ability to search and display results. Many time students do not use this format and the question or conversation becomes lost without reference.
Having the ability to edit the message to accommodate the format would be amazing. I also agree with Sean's post. Once the original message is edited, it should be noted somewhere that the message was edited and by which user.

If this is implemented, it must be very clear that the message has been edited, and it must also be possible to recover the previous versions of messages, even if they are not displayed.
To implement this without these safeguards would open the system up to abuse:
- Team lead: Would you like a 10% raise?
- Jon Q: Yes, definitely sounds like a sensible move.
- Team lead (edits original message): Would you be open to voluntary redundancy?
- /me cackles evillyIt would also work the other way, with logs or captures of Teams conversations losing any evidential value, as they would be open to accusations of nefarious editing.
