Ability to move conversations
It should be possible (for team admins) to move conversations from one channel to another or into another conversation (i.e. convert a stand-alone conversation into a reply to another conversation).

Agreed. Allows for correction of mistakes where Reply hasn't been correctly used, but also when a conversation might take place in a particular Channel (for example particular to Project A), but on further discussion actually relates to the bigger picture and should be under a more general channel (for example relating to Programme 1).
This would allow conversations to be correctly classified based on the evolution of the discussion. It's not always apparent exactly which context a conversation belongs to until further into the discussion.
In a large organisation, announcements could be lost in the shuffle if a large number of people start new conversations to have their input, instead of replying directly. Giving admin the ability to make these new conversations into replies would go a long way into keeping things tidy within the team and ensuring information isn't lost

I agree, both team owners and original authors should be able to move conversations.

Agreed, although perhaps the Team owner should be allowed to do this, or the person who created the conversation post be able to move it to a different channel within the same team..?

This would be very useful when onboarding new people who may not be fluid in how things work and post in the wrong place.

Conversations can be moved in Yammer to a different Group. We should have Owner-level control over moving a Teams thread to a different channel.

Agreed, would be handy; e.g. you might later realise that different conversations have a common theme that warrants a channel of their own.
Or members respond, accidentally, with as a new conversation rather than using the existing.
