meeting invite only to specific (added) people
I would like the invite to only be sent to the people I chose, not the whole team.
Use case - I want to have a meeting with a subset of the team but still would like everybody to know about the meeting. I.e use the team to have "sub team meetings".
Invited people are to get the invite in their calendar. Rest of team can see the meeting in group calendar and can of course join "ad hoc" to the meeting.

Go vote for this one, it's the same topic: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/33656554-do-not-invite-the-whole-team-to-a-channel-meeting

At the moment, if I attach a meeting to a channel, EVERYONE in the team gets the invite.
An example: There's a construction project, and I am responsible for all IT, communications and security sub-projects for the construction site.
This means I have a single project, with about 10 sub-projects - I don't want to break this into 10 teams, but rather want to keep everyone (internal and external) working as one team.
But, when I want to meet with the guys responsible for the access control systems, I now have to organize the meeting outside of Teams, as otherwise everyone else will be invited as well.
