Video camera stops working with error
Continually my Logitech BRIO works for a while in Teams and then I get an error that the camera stopped working and that I should plug it in again. It happens after about 5 minutes or so. However, when I use other video conferencing apps (like GotoMeeting), I can use the camera for hours, no issues ever. Teams, every single time, it fails. Ideas? If it was happening in all apps, I'd suspect my camera or USB, but since other apps work wonderfully, I suspect it is something with Teams.
You can try this:
Device Manager - Find camera - right click - Update driver - Browse my computer.. - Let me pick.. - select "USB Video Device".
Restart computer, and try again.
Hope it help!
Camera stopped working.
MacBook Pro - Windows 10 x64 - BootCamp - Teams using built in FaceTime Camera.
All worked nicely for a week or so (my bootcamp windows is new) then teams started to report problems with camera.
Now it's just black - restart, reinstall Teams etc nothing works.
Camera works fine in other apps (like Zoom etc, and the built in Camera app).
Problems seems ONLY to be in teams -
Yes, same problem here. I can join a meeting with camera, everything is fine. But after some time I receive an error message that the video has stopped working. The microphone of my webcam is still working, but the video has freezed and it won't get back to work... Please fix this issue!!
Same problem here, happens all the time in Teams only. Hope theres some kind of fix out there.
Dell 5580 only in Teams after a few seconds the camera does not work.
Happens to my laptop inbuilt HP Truevision HD Camera as well. Was working fine till yesterday and suddenly doesn't work anymore and its only with teams. Microsoft products are getting really frustrating and its really annoying. It didna use to work till a few weeks ago till Microsoft provided a windows update. Skype for business also doesn't work.....
Did anyone find a solution?

around the 10 minute mark for me. Only in Teams. Happens often, most every meeting.

Logitech Brio here - same thing.
Same problem with a Logitech C920 on a MacBook Pro. The camera itself seems to be fine - when it fails in Teams,it still works in WebEx or Zoom that I also use.
When it fails in Teams, I can start CamTwist, select the Logitech as CamTwist's webcam source then select CamTwists virtual cam as the source in Teams....
This only happens with Teams, not with WebEx or Zoom that I also use. It seems to have started in the last month-ish - have been using the same set-up lots & daily since March and was fine till recently.
The built-in camera and an MSFT LifeCam 6000 also connected to the same laptop never get this issue.

This has been happening chronically for me since April
This just started happening to me - would say "video has stopped working" 3 secs into a video call.
The only thing I'd done recently was install Logitech Camera Capture App + Logitech Camera Settings App. I uninstalled Logitech Camera Capture App (kept the settings one), rebooted the camera now works fine again.
So my advice - Uninstall Logitechs own capture software :(

I have a Brio and it worked for about an hour and now wont work anymore Logitech control S/W shows camera working fine but Teams Software shows black image. Tried resetting teams and restarting lap top no luck
Having the same issue with a Logitech HD cam, plus I also get a reset from it after some time whenever I am on a video call (transmitting) and have teams on an external monitor from my HP elite book. It resets mid meeting and moves teams to the laptop screen and resets all my other apps. The meeting connection isn't broken, and my camera still works sometimes, but definitely Logitech and MS Teams is glitchy.
Similar problem with build in camera in HP elitebook. works for a second or so and then stops.
I'm having this same issue. I've had this problem for as long as I can remember with Teams and the Brio. I keep updating the FW hoping at some point it will be fixed but still nothing.
I am running into the same issue. I have a Logitech Brio on Mac OS X 10.15. FaceTime on the Mac seems to run fine but Teams video will stop working after about 10 minutes or so. I've tried playing with the GPU setting in Teams and it seems to freeze regardless.
I'm also having the same issues with logitech brio camera. It just stops working after few minutes.

Yes we are experiencing the same issue. with a Logitecth HD C615 camera. The video will start for a few minutes and then freeze and the bar at the top says that the video stopped working and to reboot the device. This is quite annoying as WebEx works with this camera setup without issue for hours.
We are experiencing this issue as well. Did you find anything out Bryan?

Is anyone else experiencing issues where Teams video works for 5 or so minutes and then says the video stopped working. Or, am I alone in this?
