Support device call controls
Support call controls for popular 3rd party headsets (handup, mute) like Plantronics 740-M or Jabra.
The team is working to address issues with call controls that occur for users running both Teams and Skype for Business. We will let you know when there is more to share.

Same issue for Plantronics Voyager 8200 series.
The voice says it's answering the call but it doesn't happen, also by presing the answering button - nothing happens.
Teams version: 1.3.00.12058 (64-bit). It was last updated on 5/8/20.
Don't even have Skype for Business running in parallel.
I have just lost call controls with my Plantronics Blackwire 5220 with the latest release of Teams version 1.3.00.12058 (64 bit).

I will be purchasing the Jabra Evolve 2 65 real soon and they say it is Microsoft Teams certified I hope this will be resolved before I obtain my headset.
Any update on the fix by MS?

I use both Skype for Business and Teams. My controls work fine directly from my Jabra 410 in Skype but not in Teams. As Skype is going away, I really need this working with Teams just like with Skype.

Same here with my Jabra Speak 710: Tested the workaround and installed Jabra Direct on my computer. Now I can control calls in Teams from the device button but only problem is that Teams doesn't recognize if I put myself on mute and then un-mute. The mic is mutes and un-mutes but you can't see the correct status from Teams or get the Jabra 710's mute lights to come on.
Please fix this. I have Jabra 65e with USB Jabra link MS370. Call control (especially mute) works perfectly on skype for business but frustrating on Teams. I closed and uninstalled skype but didnt help.
All the software and drivers are up to date.
Same here; not running Skype for Business, mute works but answer/hang up stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Using a Sennheiser MB Pro1 with latest EPOS Connect and firmware.
I'm not running Skype but still having problems with Engage 65. Mute works but answer/hang up stopped working a couple of weeks ago.
Jabra 25e doesn't seem to work.
Still not solved (at least for Jabra 510), right?
Plantronics Blackwire 3220 works perfectly with Skype... Teams: No call button functionality... pretty annoying
Installing the Sennheiser utility 'EPOS Connect' gave me settings to control teams with my sennheiser headset (after it had me update my firmware).

My savi w8220-m Call buttons work perfect with Jabber but not at all with TEAMS.
Although it is a -m device. No Skype is installed.
Jabra speak 710, mute works on Teams, but accepting and ending calls button don't seem to work. I'm hearing a sound but no responses from teams
Tested the workaround and installed Jabra direct to my computer. Now I can control calls in teams from the device button but only problem is that teams doesn't recognize if I for example put myself muted and then back unmuted. So controls work and mic is muted and unmuted but you can't see the correct status from teams.
Will be possible to use a more conventional (and less expensive) products like Logitech H390 USB?
Any particular reason it takes so long to replicate a basic functionality between 2 Microsoft products??
Add me to the list. Skype4Business & Teams, Skype certified Jabra headset and teams won't use the controls unless i get rid of Skype.
It's a problem with sennheiser pxc 550 when working on mac.
Mute control works correctly with teams on android.
