Support device call controls
Support call controls for popular 3rd party headsets (handup, mute) like Plantronics 740-M or Jabra.
The team is working to address issues with call controls that occur for users running both Teams and Skype for Business. We will let you know when there is more to share.
This issue has been marked as "Working on it" for 1.5 years. This needs to be fixed ASAP. It is not OK that I have to go to my computer to be able to answer my phone when I am doing non-computer work.
36 people asked for an update since this was set to "Working on it".
Please provide an ETA.
It used to work for me for a while, then stopped working for unknown reasons. I suspect after an 'update'.
Is this still getting worked on?

We have swiched from Skype for Business to teams for normal voice calls and eventhough we have uninstalled Skype for Business and run in Teams Only mode we still have probably 75% of our users unable to use call controls or call alerting on headsets (sennheiser D10 and Jabra Evolve 65). Very frustrating. We seem to have narrowed it down to something that is stuck in the users profile somewhere, but no idea where or what. In an environment without roaming profiles. it seems to work for users that have never used the machine before.
In general we are not impressed with Teams as a voice call platform - it continually disappoints.
Jabra Evolve2 65 user here. The physical call accept/reject/end button does not do anything in Teams.
Another related issue is that it sticks to speak mode (low-fidelity audio) even when the meeting has ended
Please give an update
please fix this ASAP :) we need it so badly !
Alex: What means 'Working on it' ? What is the status of this issue. Can you please give an update?
Jabra speak 410 end call button stopped working on MS Teams. Any idea how to sort this out? A year on and this problem is still ongoing. I'm absolutely appalled. Everyone using MS Teams due to the pandemic and Microsoft are clearly just resting on their laurels. Can't be bothered to fix problems that impact on people being able to do their jobs. 'Microsoft certified' is simply a term used to mislead people into buying products.
Jabra speak 410 end call button stopped working on MS Teams. Any idea how to sort this out? Only had this device for a week.
I hope this issue will solve our problem with Jabra 750 MS

How much time to fix this issue.....that's incredible!!!
Same issue here. Whe have bought three devices for use in Teams, but when you want to resume the call is gone. We have done research an whole day to find the issue is in the headset Jabra 930. I have contacted Jabra, bu the are waiting for Microsoft to relaesa an update. When will this update come?

Hi, I had the same issue because both software (Skype for business and Teams) was configured in our organization.
If you have completely switched to Teams you could change the "Set your coexistence and upgrade settings" to "Teams only"; then it worked fine with Teams!

Any update here? The mute button is still not working on windows 10. On other OS everything works flawlessly.

Jabra 85h Macos teams - I trigger mute using the headphones button and I hear muted and then immediately unmuted afterwards
@Alex Please let us know an update about this old issue.
As of today still cannot seem to accept/end incoming -direct- Teams calls using the Jabra Evolve2 call-button (Teams edition). NOT using Skype or any other softphone service. Only connected to 1 computer using the dongle.
The only thing the Teams headset seems to do is:
- Open the Teams window when pressing the call button
- Open a Teams Meeting lobby when a scheduled meeting pop up and pressing the call button.
