Support device call controls
Support call controls for popular 3rd party headsets (handup, mute) like Plantronics 740-M or Jabra.
The team is working to address issues with call controls that occur for users running both Teams and Skype for Business. We will let you know when there is more to share.
Continually getting conflicts of control between desktop/Teams/Skype and other apps. Unable to seamlessly switch between headset devices. Headsets appear and disappear from drop down lists without any real changes being made.
Something SO basic as change the incoming calls ringtone is just not working with teams... and a post with +560 votes since february--- is "wonrking on it" really?????
With Plantronics Calisto 7200: Hang-up does not work. Mute / Unmute does work.
Exited fully from Skype for Business to see if would work with only Teams running, but no luck: Same bad behavior persisted.

The call disconnect functionality does not work on both my Jabra headsets - wired 750a UC and wireless Evolve 65. Please do something soon.
Doh. I was hoping to find a solution, but all I can find are large communities of frustrated people with the same issue. It feels weird that MS would accept people seeking an alternative product line over a such a simple but fundamental issue.
Also seeing issues here with a few different types of Jabra headsets. The mute button seems to work after a firmware upgrade but the end call button does not work.
It's been 22 months since the original post (in August 2018). Do you have anything more to share yet?
Plantronics Voyager 5200 with BT600 doesn't work. works perfectly with Skype. it's not listed in "headsets with issues" list.
please also publish list of bluetooth headsets hardware that is verified functional with Teams!

Any update on this issue? I cannot but notice that the last response was on February and now is June and they are still not working.
Jabra Speak 510 call controls now SOMETIMES works in S4B and never in Teams. Using Mute works but at the hardware level and is not represented in the Teams APP (attendees see you as UNMUTED).

We are about to migrate our SfB users to Teams (currently running a pilot) and have also noticed that The call control buttons on both the Sennheiser SDW 60 HS Headset and the Sennheiser Presence earpiece work fine in SfB for answering, muting calls etc but they do not function correctly in Teams.
I have tested on users with and without the Sennheiser EPOS software and the user with the EPOS software at least had Windows volume control via the Presence earpiece.

I have a Jabra 510 which works perfectly in SfB, but like many people who have posted here, the quick access buttons don't work in Teams.
Not being able to answer or end a call is annoying, but the deal breaker for me is the mute button.
If this doesn't get sorted out soon, I am going to have to make a decision: do I change my speakerphone (and those of the other partners in my company that have the same issue) or use another supported software?
Easy answer I will be changing to another software and I am sure that many others will do the same. Sort this out ASAP or you will end up losing many customers.
Pretty sure MS did this intentionally with their "Certification" program. Only a few actual certified headsets now forcing us all to purchase new headsets if we want call controls

Very bad, please fix it! It is more than a must have!

Major frustration here - even bought a new headset before I realised it was not a headset issue.
Call hang-up button not working, mute behaving erratically (sometime "fighting" the headset setting) on two different Teams-certified Plantronics headsets.

Hello , Is there any progress with this issue please?
Same issue Here Plantronics Savi will not end call if I push the end call button on the Headset. Workd on Skype, but not Teams
I have the same issue with my Jabra Pro 9450 headset. Works fine in Skype but not in teams. It is selectable there, but no sound or mic.
