Screen sharing within chat
I need to be able to share my screen with a coworker at a different location WITHIN a chat. I also need my coworker to be able take over my computer within chat. Right now it seems you can only share your screen during a meeting.

Is this in place yet? Can't see us moving across to Teams without it. It's probably the second most used functionality in Skype for us after chatting.

Sharing content during a chat with a coworker is pretty basic and would bring better feature parity with Skype for Business.
Skype for Business Workflow - "here let me show you..."
Teams Workflow - "here let me show you....but first I need to create a teams meeting and now we need to move over to that"

We've gotten so used to the way the way that SfB works. It would be great to be able to Share a screen without making a call. I don't always want audio. I just want to share a screen with some text chatting.

Screen sharing during chat is really a basic need. This was very useful in Skype and also in jabber. but in team this feature is not there.

I work with users DAILY through chat to do screen share and take control without having to create a meeting to do this everytime!

I want this too. Here's my use case:
I've called someone on my cell phone or office phone (over the PSTN). While in conversation, I want to see their screen or share my screen. I open a 1-on-1 chat Window in Skype for Business and click the screen sharing icon. We continue talking on our cell phones, but look at the shared screen during the conversation.

In Jabber, users get an option to share desktop /screen while chatting.
This feature is only available in MS teams while 1:1 calls or meetings.
Kindly make this available -

Not as simple as skye for business, needs to be more intuitive. Can’t share screens on private chat (only in meetings).

give all chats a screen share option. we use it is Skype all the time and it is a thing we miss in Teams

Often, we need to share the screen without calling the person. As of now, you have to dial the person in order to share the screen with him.

Share screen during a chat. Looks like you have to be in a meeting before you can share screen.

Sometimes when I am on a call with another device I may still need to share my screen.
