Screen sharing within chat
I need to be able to share my screen with a coworker at a different location WITHIN a chat. I also need my coworker to be able take over my computer within chat. Right now it seems you can only share your screen during a meeting.

This is done! Happy holidays. Tweet me at @skprufo if you have any questions.

Someone said 1.1.00.31052 verions works. We have 1.0 through Office 365. Why wouldn't we get the latest version? Or is that version not available yet?
Does it require Skype? When we click on it we get prompted to pick a screen to share and it goes to connecting... and fails.
If this requires more than just a network connection (i.e. Skype), that should be noted that it is required when someone tries to use it. -

Why you would offer an option to only Share Screen without option to talk to another person or even without hearing what the other person says. This does not make any sense.

yet another broken product from microsoft. please stop hiring 5 y.o. to code your broken solutions.

Cannot Add Audio/Video once I start Desktop Sharing.
This works in Skype. At any given time you may need to Add Video/Audio or Desktop Sharing. What I am noticing is that if you initiate a Screen Share 1st then adding Audio or Video doesn't work. The icons are all greyed out.

It's at least in 1.1.00.31052 and works.

Share icon is shown in top right corner but its not working. As soon as we click, nothing happens but it is asking for feedback alone with star ratings.

How Microsoft can call Teams an 'upgrade' to Skype FB when taking away one of the most useful features is beyond me.

This is Microsoft, you're concerns will fall on deaf ears.

I do not have such an update. I tried to download Teams from the site, but there is also an old version. This is a very important feature for moving from SfB to Teams.

As our lead IT guy, this would be incredibly helpful for me to help troubleshoot for users. I'f probably gain 10 pounds from not running around the office so much.

I just updated my Windows 10 and Teams updated as well. Now it says, "You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.1.00.29068 (64-bit). It was last updated on 11/8/18."
I don't see a share tray icon, just Video, Audio and Add People icons.

I am also on version 1.1.00.28562 even though I am set for targeted release. How are we supposed to sign up for TAP adoption? I couldn't find any information about it.

@Ujwal Dey
I did not find how to register in the TAP program. I think that the new version will be released soon for all users. -
