Host a teams meeting in a pre-exsisting chat and be able to select this group when scheudling the meeting via outlook plug in
My team and I have a Named Group Chat, we use this for daily conversations, file sharing...etc. We basically get all our work done here. We also sync weekly via a teams meeting. We would like to be able to schedule this meeting to show up in our Named Group Chat. Currently it goes into a separate Chat for the meeting. Keeping all our conversations and files in the same chat would be helpful.

A group chat should behave the same as a channel conversation in that it persists context. I can reply to a channel conversation with multiple meetings over time which would stay within that thread. Group chats, on the other hand, break that thread for every single meeting.
-A group of 5 people have an ongoing chat.
-A meeting is scheduled.
-That meeting doesn't have the ongoing chat in history. Instead, it has a brand new chat thread. Worse still, only the people who show up for the meeting get that new chat thread.
