Searchable code snippets
It's not possible to search for the content of a code snippet.
Would be great to be able to search for parts of the content, e.g. if you want to search for examples where a certain class or library is in use.
We are now in July 2020 and the search bar is still not able to find inside code snippets.
Makes you regret switching to Teams...

This needs to be available. It is not even possible with Microsoft Search :-|
Not being able to find previously posted code snippets is really making it difficult for me to make the case to switch to teams. It either needs to create a file, like Slack does, so we can find the snippets in the file manager, or they need to be searchable in some way. The ability to go back and find a script our developers sent to support at one point is really key for our organization.

It was disappointing to notice that this does not work yet. Reliable search functions is a must have. As most of our internal discussion now takes place in Teams it would be natural place for internal Q&A also. Was delighted about the possibility to integrate code snippets with proper syntax highlighting into the posts, but as those are ignored by the search it really cripples the whole use case. Really need to be able to search at the same time from non-structured discussions and more thought out examples and write ups (utilizing the code snippets)!
Yes, this should definitely be added, sometimes I use this for something other than code as well. Without being able to search inside code snippets it's almost impossible to find again considering how slow scrolling back is (please fix that as well). Also there is no warning that this content will not be searchable making it more dangerous for user of this function (if they just assume they will be able to find this important snippet later).
