Option to change global font size in Teams & apply settings to incoming messages like you can in Lync
Very important for visually impaired individuals. Lync has an option that allows you to specify the global font settings and then click a box that "applies settings to incoming messages."
This means that someone like myself, who is visually impaired, can then set the global font to say 16. Then all messages I type will be at size 16 and more importantly, all the messages I get back from people are going to be size 16 as well.
This option also allows people who Don't want to see messages in size 16 -don't have to. They can specify their own individual font preferences.
Currently, our company uses Teams and the inability to set global font sizes and control what size incoming messages are displayed at is causing difficulty. It can be set for Each individual message Every time, but that is neither convenient nor really usable as it does nothing for the incoming font size.
I would think Microsoft would want to make their products as user friendly as possible- especially for those who are visually impaired.
See attachment - this should work.

We are facing another bad code writing issue. I'm working from home due to COVID-19 and MS Teams messages are almost unreadable cause they appear with micro fonts.
I wear heavy glasses and I get tired easily.
A global font setup would be greatly appreciated.
Seriously? This is unbelievable. Now that we're all at home during the Covid-19 pandemic, maybe Microsoft can manage to fix this, since my team and I are using this all the time! I suspect many of us working from home are using it and getting headaches from trying to read the itty-bitty eye-strain-o-vision! Is this headache I have Covid-19 or MS Teams?

FOR PETE'S SAKE. Let us change the font already! User with impaired vision here.
MS, please enable this feature. It is frustrating that this is not already available.
More enhancements required in Teams.
1.Its not allowing to change the default font set.MS has to provide the feasibility to change the font
2.It has to provide option to reply to particular line in chat where other messaging app will provide the same.
In user friendly segment Microsoft Teams has more scope of improvements.
I really hope that the global settings can be changed -- It's one way to express yourself but also be ABLE TO READ the chats. Please Please make this happen sooner than later

I really have a problem with the Converstion tab.
On the left, I see the list of all my recent contacts and the "last sentense exchanged".
Could you make the "contact name" bigger compared to the "last sentense exchanged" ?
Or maybee "Contact name "in bold and "last sentense exchanged" in italic.
As I cannot quickly find the contact I am interested in, I search it each time (by typing the firstname).

I don't see it documented anywhere or on any settings type page, but "<ctrl>" + "+" will zoom in and "<ctrl>" + "-" will zoom out - making the chat larger and smaller. Doesn't change the fonts used, but does help one aspect of the complaint.
This default font is so terrible,my eyes were so tired

I cannot use this app. The menus are too small to read. I have a job interview that wants to use it. Shame Microsoft only wants people with good vision to be able to get a job.

The current default font is nearly terrible for me to read. need option to change fonts like skype for business
Agree. This is a dropped ball.
Is there a plan for a global font change and when?

Please make a setting for changing the font size in Microsoft Teams!
Got here because I can't believe the tiny font is not globally adjustable. Why Microsoft? Why? Even this site has tiny text.
How is this not a thing? Honestly how hard can it be to enable Teams to do this? To be honest I get on okay with Teams myself but I have a colleague with dyslexia who is having a nightmare using this and the Immersive Reader is no use since it makes the post HUGE and takes out a lot of the visual formatting cues such as bold and links.
Surely this requires minimal effort for huge rewards - given that 5-10% of the population has some form of dyslexia. (To put that into perspective, by NOT doing this, Microsoft is limiting access to Teams to the same proportion of the population as those of us who are left handed)
