Option to change global font size in Teams & apply settings to incoming messages like you can in Lync
Very important for visually impaired individuals. Lync has an option that allows you to specify the global font settings and then click a box that "applies settings to incoming messages."
This means that someone like myself, who is visually impaired, can then set the global font to say 16. Then all messages I type will be at size 16 and more importantly, all the messages I get back from people are going to be size 16 as well.
This option also allows people who Don't want to see messages in size 16 -don't have to. They can specify their own individual font preferences.
Currently, our company uses Teams and the inability to set global font sizes and control what size incoming messages are displayed at is causing difficulty. It can be set for Each individual message Every time, but that is neither convenient nor really usable as it does nothing for the incoming font size.
I would think Microsoft would want to make their products as user friendly as possible- especially for those who are visually impaired.

I have poor vision and it is getting worse. I can hardly read this small font without putting my nose to the screen, even with my glasses on. Zooming in to make it larger makes me have to move the screen around to see everything, which gives me vertigo. Allowing users to modify their default font size is an ADA requirement for the Visually impaired.

MS Updates has done it's usual and stuffed up a perfectly functioning app. Now can only run Teams in High Contrast as the default display has enlarged beyond use without any clear way of rectifying. If this has happened to you, go to Settings and change to High Contrast display. It will work and you may like the look but you will not be able to us the default display until MS wake up and sort out their current mess on Teams. I hate their updates. Always screws something up.

This currently used font is terrible when working with software development. There are severe problems to distinguish |, I and l (yes the two last symbols are different). I do not want to sit with the GUI and modify these things every time, when doing a permanent change would solve all my problems. Please fix ASAP Microsoft!

Even if you have to hide this in an "Advanced Configuration" panel (or even as as text setting in an .INI file!!) it would be a REAL HELP to have this feature.
I don't have a choice. My entire organization uses Teams, so I must as well. If a colleague at another company asked me if they should use this, I would say DEFINITELY NOT... and it's because of so many usability issues like THIS one!

For now, change the theme to use "High Contrast" in the setting-general. It helped me. And yes being able to increase font size is a must. I too have a vision impairment.

This is terrible Microsoft. Need this fixed ASAP.
Until then, you can open teams.microsoft.com in a browser and set the font and the size you want over there.

Ability to set a default FONT in chat would be better than the current implementation of ZOOMing the entire application.
Also, the idiots at MS that implemented and approved the decision to make the keyboard shortcut for "zoom plus" to be CTRL =, and not CTRL + (like every other application on the planet) should be flogged. At lease "zoom minus" is still CTRL -.
