Make meeting minutes shareable
Currently if I join a meeting on Teams, there is an option to take meeting notes. It's a neat fetaure, but there is no way to export the contents of the note, I have to copy-paste it section by section.
Please make a share button / option.

Who's bright idea was it to make a note-taking area that you can't export the content of and you can barely copy and paste without cleaning up for ages?

Any export function would be useful. Or the option to transfer to a specific teams site wiki!

Same here. Even if it's only a PDF-Export button, without any option to get that notes out of Team, the feature is utterly useless

Is crazy why the meeting notes are so private :)
Let us share the information :)
Thanks!

I would very like to have the note shareable or exportable to a word document. Thank you in advance

We should be able to export to word, print the notes or provide a link.

Or it should be exportable to OneNote

Just used meeting notes for the first time and then realized I couldn't figure out how to covert them to word or pdf to save and send out. Went searching for answers and see this thread. I won't be using the meeting notes function from now on for sure without an export function. Seems crazy not to have this simple functionality.

Fully agree. Looks like a nice feature but totally useluss if your notes are 'stuck' in that meeting space.

Best would be to add a "share with all meeting attendees" button.
Which opens outlook, has the attendees put into the receivers field and the nicely formatted content of the meeting minutes in the Mail.Bonus points:
Link to the teams meeting so you could look at the chat communication of the meeting. -

Hive.com project management software already has a great tool that does this.
(https://help.hive.com/en/articles/2902341-emailing-and-sharing-your-meeting-notes)You can make Hive work as a tab in Teams

What is the point of writing notes you can't use effectively without having to trace back to a meeting you had and outcomes/tasks generated from that meeting?
It would be good to use that as a driving feature to correlate and link outcomes and tasks that come out of interactions/meetings. A good way to work is to have the outcomes in context and linked together rather than desperate objects that discourage use and are soon forgotten and go unused.

While there is no true export feature you can get your notes after the meeting is over, if you go to your OneDrive, and open the Microsoft Teams Data folder, and then open the Wiki folder, you will see the name your notes saved with the name of the meeting. You can only downolad this file (cannot open it) but it downloads in Outlook .eml format which you can open in the Outlook client and see your fully formatted email notes. You can then forward the notes, or print to pdf to repurpose outside of Teams.

Temporary workaround until Microsoft adds this very necessary export, print, share, or Publish Meeting Notes To Participants feature:
If you log into the web app through teams.microsoft.com you can load the whole interface as a webpage and select the text and headings of all sections at once, including the formatting.

Absolutely needed, pretty much useless without these mentioned additional features, share, print etc

Please include capability to print /export comments

If you start your select from the bottom of the Meeting Notes it allows you to copy it all at once. There is quite a bit of cleanup when you paste into Word. It would be nice if the copy copied formatting properly. (Skip the title of the meeting if you try this. I got like a form field box pasted into word that I could not remove. I had to copy again into another file to remove it from my final document.
Ideally this should be an option to export, share and save (local, teams files, and other SharePoint location.
Meeting attendance should be able to be added automatically. It would be also nice to have meeting timeline option with this for education. I am thinking the "meeting timeline" could be used for attendance where required and for educational use.
