Restrict Guest access in a certain Team to a domain
When collaborating in a Team with certain people it would be nice if you could limit adding guests based on their domain. For example, I create a Team to collaborate with Contoso, I want to be able to add only people with the contoso.com domain. This will prevent accidental mixing up of different companies in a single Team.

I have been researching this and it may already be possible? Saw another forum say "access is managed in exchange and teams honours this setting" haven't tried though
I agree. It would be great if Teams will have "Restricted domains sharing" feature like SharePoint Online (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/restricted-domains-sharing).
We make a new team to prevent data contamination if collaboration partner is different. But we do not have any solution to prevent accidental user contamination in one team.

I agree at our university we have a school that decided to create a separate SharePoint tenant and therefore they are "external" to our tenant. But we want to be able to share content with them and ONLY them for some team sites - so we want to specify that only the domains associated with that school will be allowed, but not any other external domains. This is a major obstacle for some of our departments that need to restrict access to research, medical records, etc.
