Persistent call controls on active calls
In Teams Calls while on an active voice call, the call controls disappear from view. Can you add a Setting to make the call controls persistent for active calls?
This is particularly a problem after opening the Dialer, which makes it so that when you hover over the teams window, the call controls do not re-appear. You must close the Dialer before you are able to successfully end a call.
If you cannot add an option to make call controls persistent, can you add in the call controls to the Dialer area?

Agree with this one, we really need the "Show call controls when application is running in the background" like in SfB. Takes way to long when you are in another window to go back into Teams and unmute yourself.

This is super annoying. Every single call, digging for a menu to activate a hidden panel to re-open the active calling functionality and click around to find a "hang up/end" button? There's a similar audio glitch for headsets that is mentioned elsewhere, and I've discovered that you you are usually IN a call first when you need to access the active audio profile in mac. So not only is there a bug where it doesn't switch, but to switch your mic or headset device, going 6 clicks away in the settings to modify this isn't exactly well thought out. I mean, worst case, all of these missing pieces could all be text links in the app's main navigation for (gulp) View or Window to see the dialpad for an active phone call. That's assuming the app isn't fancy enough to use a contextual for the function you're using in the app itself - that would be asking a bit much.

+1 The Calls tab needs a complete redesign. The additional clicks required to call a typical business (most use auto-attendants) are growing very annoying. A unified UI that includes the dialpad and call controls should remain persistent during calls to save clicks. The entire Teams interface is destroying my hand due to a general disregard for UI design principals. Really wish I had Skype for Business back!

I liked that Skype for Business had a small call control window that was always on top even if SfB was minimized.

I agree, this is another example of Microsoft failing to understand the needs of its users just because their needs are slightly different than what they want within their own company. When 10+ people join in on a call from 10 different, potentially noisy environments, we need to mute and un-mute frequently to avoid injecting unwanted background noise into the call. Its stupid that the call controls disappear and have to be summoned back. I would advocate that this should not be a setting, the call controls should simply be visible at all times during an active call, period. That goes double for the mobile app. There is PLENTY of room for those buttons to be on display continuously.
