Moving or copying channel content
Quite often a channel will evolve into a team with new channels. As part of this maturation process, the content of the previous channel should be easily movable to the new team, particularly the Conversations. Mostly, the conversation history could simply be copied/moved over to the default General channel of the new team. Of course, it would be great if Teams supported the transfer of all other channel content.
The more we use Teams and get better at it, the more frequently do we face this hurdle in maturing channels and their underlying projects.

I was on my way to write the same suggestion and found this from Amit Roy. I strongly advice MS-Team to include this flexibility in Teams. That will make it even more better to deal with everyday challanges as more and more Teams is used in everyday tasks.

As Microsoft Team is maturing day to day and we also getting good hands on MS Team usage it is good to have feature where all contents of a channel to be allowed to copy/move to other or move the entire channel to other Team. Other wise we will end up creating more and more channel or Team and then loosing the history.
One example of the need is Private Team and Private Channel option has been enabled few months back now without Private channel and team we were creating more Team to make it private and segregated. Now with Private Channel if I really want to streamline it is holding me back as I would miss my previous history if I move to new channel or toggle between one channel to other other.
This is only relevant to me at the moment because the current private channel we have cannot be made public, but I could definitely see this being relevant for other purposes.
