Integrate Teams Meeting with the Chat - Conversation and Notes
When wanting to follow up with the team and actions from a meeting, it would be reasonable to start in the left pane meetings "app". The experience today is that this is only the meeting invitation and the user has to navigate the Chat "app" to find that meeting in order to view the conversation and notes.
Two problems with the current experience exist:
1. Chat behaves with a buffer such that a meeting could disappear from the recent list. Users will not know where to find the conversations/notes.
2. The current experience is confusing as its not treating the meeting as distinct and disconnected behaviors which causes end user frustration with the solution.
The desired experience is that when viewing the meeting, that one can see the all of the chat details there or a direct link to the relevant entry in the chat "app".
Attached is a screen mockup that would introduce a Tab for the Meeting (Invitation suggested) and adds the 3 Tabs - Conversation, Files, Meeting Notes that show from the chat aspect of the meeting.
Yes it would ideal if the meeting notes and meeting chats are either tied to Meeting itself in Outlook or sent out as an email to each person in the meeting.
Yes, i loose things in recent chat, like old meetings all the time. I don't know how to find them again.

That's a great idea John!

Yes, it would be great if at the conclusion of a meeting the "Join" button were replaced with a "Meeting Notes" button in the invite you see on the Meetings app.
