Distribution Lists in Teams
In Skype for Business client I can add a Distribution List as a Contact Group.
Can we have this feature in Teams?

We really need to have a security group to be added to teams. As administrators we need oversight and adding manually to hundreds of teams is inefficient to say the least

O365/Exchange email distribution groups are not available in Teams. Is this a bug or a feature? Please fix it ASAP.

Isn't distribution lists an appendage from the past?
Surely you should create a chat group or use a channel? -

This Feature is Paramount to My organization's Migration. We are unable to expand DLs to see members and their status as we did in S4B and do in outlook. Please get a resolution ASAP.

We can not move from SFB to Teams without this functionality. Should be a basic feature.

In Skype for Business our office just adds the office distribution list and then everyone in the office is immediately in contacts for Teams. This is functionality that should already exist. Adding all your contacts manually is very poor setup.

Second all these comments. Definitely a required function.

If you click on the "Select a Channel to Meet in" drop down menu and select a Teams channel that corresponds with the distribution list you wish to invite to the meeting, this will automatically send a meeting invite to all the members of that Team/distro.

The REALLY annoying part of this is that Most DL's (if they have closed membership) can't be converted to o365 groups. So MS is just snubbing it's nose at anyone who uses DL's. NICE

This is very much needed and should be a feature in the tool.

This is a critical function that I use every single day, all day, in Skype. And a major feature that makes the Skype for Business app a better product for me over teams.
No wait to dial from the outside into a teams meeting is a second snafu (but that might be organizational), and then I absolutely hate how terrible the UI is for teams.

Though you support to add the distribution lists in main member but we cannot use it in the channels. Then it is very very difficult to manage the private channels. In main member list, you should left the distribution lists in there too to support this case.

Need this - trying to sell MS Teams in org is very difficult without it.

This is crazy, how much time is wasted by forcing 100 people to add 100 contacts manually. WHY!?

Why wouldn't this be a feature? Please Microsoft give us the capability of using Office 365 groups & Azure AD Sync'd Distribution Lists from on-prem AD. This really hinders our migration to Teams, as end users will not want to add everyone in the company as a "Contact".
