Use native MacOS Notification Manager
Instead of using a custom notification, please use native MacOS Notification manager. This will allow users to manage notifications consistently with most other MacOS apps.

Any update on this?
What is infuriating is that my MacOS native notifications cover up the Teams notifications. They both appear on the top right of the desktop, but since Teams isn't using MacOS notifications they get covered up by the native ones.
Also, not being integrated with MacOS Do Not Disturb is very frustrating. PLEASE switch to Mac native notifications - even if it means I can't reply from the notification window. That's not important to me.

It is just the way that mac os work and it is fine for everybody. I don't see the value point to develop an over way to display notification.

So frustrating! For a App that is supposed to replace Skype .. it is very lacking.. Especially this particular aspect of not using native MacOS notifications! Please can this be addressed Microsoft!

This is ESSENTIAL because if a native macOS notification is already sitting in the upper-right corner, all non-native notifications will be placed UNDERNEATH it by the OS, making them hard to see and impossible to read. See the attached.

This is a duplicate of https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16941685-use-built-in-notifications-for-macos, but it gets my vote!

Yeah, as well as the fact they don't obey Do Not Disturb, ironically they're also incredibly easily missed. And they don't appear in the Notfication Center.

This feature would be especially useful since the current Teams notifications do not appear when using another app in full screen, native Notifications always appear and can be snoozed.
