Fix voice calls to be treated as Windows communications activity
I use Skype for Business and Teams side by side (because some people think Teams is already a replacement...) but have noticed when in a call to another person, sometimes that person will go rather quiet.
When fiddling with the Windows Sound control panel, I noticed if I set the option "When Windows detects communications activity" to "Do nothing", the call goes back to normal.
If left/changed to the default "Reduce the volume of other sounds by 80%", the caller goes really quiet.
If Teams were to be setup such that voice calls (and video calls by association) were treated as communications activity, then this would help with how callers are heard.
I agree completely with this suggestion! It's challenging to have to find whatever other application is playing and mute it, all while answering the call. It's a great Windows feature and I wish it worked with Teams.
Very annoying if you have other voip apps and receive a call while being in a teams call.
When i call or get called with Skype, the volume of music is lowered so i can take the call.
Windows doesn't seem to see MS Teams calling as "communications activity" it seems. That's why when you call or get called with MS Teams, the volume of music is not adjusted. Pleas fix this.

More important: if you have set the sound option to "Mute all other sounds" it works with Skype4Business: any music is muted, but with Teams I have to mute my music every time I start a call :(
