Fire whoever built the installer.
Seriously an installer that calls an installer to install into the user profile then opens the program full screen. Configuration in a json file that can't be easily be managed at an enterprise level? What the **** is going on in quality control over there?
As a CIO for a global company I would definitely not fire the persons responsible for this mess. I would have them work all the days thay have left in ther lives to resolve all the problems they have created. If - and I say if - they managed to fix this I would give the Grim Reaper a call to pick them up. So Microsoft when will you fix this **** ?
Firing would be too kind. Burn them at the stake!

Holy canoli, this! No seriously.... Stop, think for a minute, pull your heads outta your collective butts, and ask yourself... What kind of sadist wants to deal with this level of nonsense? (20+ minutes and I still can't get this POS installed on an average system... Went looking for help, came across this post, and decided to vent for a minute or two.)Seriously though... Fire that masochist.

You know, It must be hard to copy the files to "Program files" folder, especially when MS Teams does not integrate with system (~5 registryentries from URL handling).
It is practically a portable app.
but hey! ..let's go against any standards we still remember - users will buy cope with it eventually.
Kids, that is how I met Discord.
