working with files & folders in cloud storage like sharepoint
When browsing through files & folders in cloud storage like sharepoint that was connected to Teams, closing the file view will bring user to the root folder instead for the containing folder. This needs to be changed.
In the other words, after user is done with viewing the file and clicks the "close" button, Teams needs to open the folder where this file was in.
For our team, things worked fine until a few weeks ago. After closing a file, you'd be back in the folder that you opened it from. But then there was a Teams update, and now it works as described above - you get back to the root folder instead. Don't know what changed, but it is so annoying!

This is highly needed in our organization, because our Sharepoint is set up with a lot of folders.

Agree strongly with this. Our kids' schools are using Teams during home schooling and we have this problem every day when going through the various folders to find and print all the materials for each subject for each day. Every time we close a document, we have to navigate through 4 layers of folder hierarchy (each step of which is slow because it's cloud not local file system) to get back to the same point and open the next document.
When a Teams has files stored in a different library than the default 'Documents' the files are not accessible via the option 'Cloud Storage' using your Android phone.
Using the Desktop or laptop all is working fine.
This needs to be fixed as soon as possible while Microsoft is now forcing to use the default 'Documents' library only.
