Change view in Files
In files, ability to change your view (icons, tiles, etc.) - most helpful when looking for a quick view of photos
This is a feature, but there seems to be no way to change the default view in a Team channel (would be useful to set a global default in each channel that the user can override). Currently, after changing the view, for example, to Tiles to see thumbnail previews of the documents, it reverts to All Documents- List View after leaving the tab.
to sync to Sharepoint and Windows? WHY does MS Teams change documents' formatting instead of maintain how created. This makes it exceptionally difficult to share proofing. Currently we have to download, edit, then resave - rather pointless, might as well be emailing. Google Drive much easier.

Adding the same types of views (like Windows Explorer - Icon, Tiles, List, Details, etc) will make Teams the default file view rather than having to switch between Teams and the sync'd view in Win Explorer when you are trying to identify specific files from Team collaborators.
Example - a surveyor takes 40 photographs and uploads them to Teams. They are named 1.jpg to 40.jpg. I have no idea what each file is until I view the sync'd directory in Win Explorer Icon View.
Add the different file views to Teams.
I have been searching on how to do this. Can you sync the view in SharePoint to TEAMS so they are identical? A must for me.
Encouraging users to use additional columns over folders is more difficult without this feature - users must go into SharePoint to filter/sort by any column other than Title, Modified, Modified By and Size.

This would very helpful. It would be nice if it just showed the same thing the default view in SharePoint for the team's library.
