Support for multiple default local dial-in numbers for PSTN
Currently it's only possible to have one default local number added to an MS Teams meeting invite.
It would be helpful to be able to be able to include multiple default local calling numbers as meeting participants can often span multiple calling areas/cities. Otherwise, the additional number(s) must always be manually added.
Otherwise, the additional numbers will need to be manually added by the PSG member with a meeting request update after the initial meeting request is sent out.

This is exactly the feature I was looking for and came to raise myself.
On a per user basis, allow us to select some default regions where the dial-in number is automatically added for every scheduled meeting by that user.Furthermore, it would be great to also have an override feature to select the countries on a per-scheduled meeting basis too. (i.e. Easily add/remove countries from the default profile setting if it needs adjusting for that particular meeting.)

We would like to add multiple toll-free numbers. It would be great if the meeting organizer could select from a list of available numbers regardless of local or toll-free.

Our productions mostly take place in 2 even 3 countries and participants might be joining the calls from different courtiers sometimes needing 4-5 local dial-in numbers for one conf call going. Most of these attendees are using cell phones to call but unfortunately searching for their local number among hundreds in the list using a small link is sometimes way too cumbersome using a cell phone.

We need a local dial-in number for Ottawa, Canada as Ottawa is the capital of Canada. Currently, there's only 1 number available from Toronto and it's not a free dial-in number. This is a request from our client (Public Services and Procurement Canada aka the government of Canada) as they have to dial that number which is a long distance call for us in the national capital area. Teams works great for our company as we just need to plug our earbuds into our laptop/cell phone but it's not so great for 3rd parties and with the COVID-19 situation, we are all using conference meetings now since we can't have in person meetings. If the option to add a free dial-in number is made available, that would be great also. Thanks!

Same here. I work for a company with offices located in specific countries and we use to have meetings with people from those countries (like someone from Germany use to have meetings with people from UK and Spain) so it would be useful, especially when we talk about C-level or board people, to ease those operations for them. Otherwise they easily go crazy and choose a competitor...

Additional Dial In Numbers or ability to add custom footer with number as link, containing the meeting id.
Example:

With MS teams being used all over the world, having this option makes more sense. Currently only the US toll free number comes in the meeting invite as soon as its scheduled.
In webex for example its customization where we can enter upto 4 entries which makes more sense as not everyone using MS teams are in the US.

Strongly in favour of this as many other comparable video / conference calling tools already cover this, as an assistant I send out multiple calendar invites per hour and the manual labour of adding our most frequently used numbers would be drastically reduced if there is an option to pre-set so that our most frequently used countries are automatically included.
As one of the separate comments on this thread (Benjamin 19th April 2020) mentions even better would be a single tap-dial option which works great when joining from a mobile phone. This is also something that is currently already offered by some comparable tools (Bluejeans, Cisco). -

MSFT please add this option as well as the ability to customize/modify the settings for our needs.
Even though there is a link to Local Numbers included in the invite, people just seemingly gloss over it or don't even recognize this link.

+1 !! Working with a global team and international customers this would make it much easier for them to dial-in. I should be able to configure my account to include specific toll and toll-free numbers in my invites by default.

To make this feature even better, the format of the included dial-in numbers should be such that allows for single tap to dial. Skype for Business changed sometime ago to do this and it looks like so:
