Create a meeting by copying an existing one
I have some recurrent meetings, which I need to insert and update on a weekyl basis.
It could be helpful having a copy-paste function on existing meetings.
Also, the metting calendar does not allow to see past meetings.
I've been copying meetings for quite sometime except there's a glitch. When you finally hold the meeting, the heading at the top of the meeting screen shows the subject of the original meeting that was copied and not the udpated subject line. Also, I believe it retains the participants from the previous meeting - even if you've deleted them from your new meeting, and displays them in the "participants" area. I've not figured out how to change the meeting link. Still looking.

Need the ability to duplicate a meeting - and update the title and date/time as applicable - but keep the same meeting link. This way, there won't be multiple meetings in the Chat history with each having various chatter and files all regarding the same content. Duplicating the original meeting will ensure all chatter and files stay on the same meeting thread - session over duplicated session. This is not the same as recurring, since the follow-up sessions could be any day/time, not necessarily in any particular cadence.

This would be very helpful, I teach an online class that meets 4x/week, so the "repeat every weekday" option doesn't work since I then have to manually "cancel" every Wednesday. Would be so much easier to copy/paste the meeting in Teams calendar!
You can do it by going through Outlook. You select your past meeting, press CTRL and drag it to the new place.

I try do this almost twice a week. Much needed!
What are all of the highly paid MS Teams product owners working on anyway?
This feature is very much needed, it's slowing down our ability to organize our teams.

Since i would really love this option right now, i will sign this "petition"
I miss that functionality as well! When cloning of previously scheduled meetings could be available? It will really save tons of time. Thank you
Cloning previously scheduled meetings would be an excellent upgrade.
please add copy paste function for meetings... insane that this functionality is not there... Outlook, Google, Apple all have it - for a reason - it's needed!!!!
Just encountering the same issue. Would love to be able to drag and/or copy the meeting for it to recur. Not all meeting dates are on specific pattern.

Not all meetings repeat on a specific schedule so a copy/paste button or a calendar choice on custom repeat would be great.

Absolutely essential and it's a waste of my time to try to duplicate meetings manually, with potentially leaving people out. Why no reaction by Microsoft Teams in 2 years?!
In for this one.
Yes, please let us copy a meeting. Standing meeting with the same team MWF at the same time every week.

When the whole world can be copy pasted so easily , why its restricted to copy paste meeting participants?
Also i am not able to copy the meeting from one date to another, this is so smoothly done in outlook calendar.

Google G-Suite does this very well. Right Click and drag an existing meeting to a new time in your calendar, then edit and save. I used it a lot...
Yes, I would like to be able to "Clone" a past or existing meeting. This way when I schedule a continuation of the first meeting, or a subsequent meeting with the same attendees/same subject, etc., I don't have to re-key a new meeting for every instance.
Must needed feature.
Currently struggling to reuse content of previous meeting (link same meeting link, mom, participants etc).
This would be really really helpfull.
Organize follow-up meetings with same participants, same topic, another date. And use same Microsoft Teams space so that chat and files and Whiteboard don't have to be lost.
