Make version history accessible for Wiki pages
As a user, I want to be able to view/restore previous versions of wiki contents. Minimum requirement: A link to the SharePoint version history for that file
I was just guessing that could be a way to do it but I think hardly anybody else would try that. Also: That view is missing a change highlight/comparison feature.
The Wiki feature is extremely risky to use without this - the ease of editing is both a great feature and an Achilles heel. Any user could accidentally select a large amount of content and delete it - and there is no version history to restore from.

Need to get some more votes on this. Just had someone add comments to a wiki and we don't know who without a convoluted process. Also, no way to lock down.

wiki shouldn't have been released without this feature. don't get why this is not implemented in 2020 :-|
A wiki is useless without the ability to search through it. Don't worry though; Microsoft will surely have this completed by the time the next generation of communication software is released. /s
We'll be looking into moving away from Office 365 products next quarter due to this and other product requirements that have remained open without a resolution for over 3 years.
Someone just deleted a lot of my content and I can't get it back or find out who did it.
I'm going to stop using Teams.

you will find the procedure on this Web page.
It creates a Word document with the information.
Yes, this is an absolute must for us to migrate off of confluence. We want to keep our wikis in one place, with everyone having access without yet another third party app. Please, please, please, please, please add this.

It is really, really painful without this right now. I know we can go to Sharepoint/OneDrive to recover old versions, but that is incredibly laborious.

This is something that's going to be a big issue for us as we push the use of Teams!

Not useful without version history
This is very much needed, any update on implementation?
In addition to version history, export to PDF would also be nice.
Can you add version change comparison to be easily available? I am having to download the mht files and use third party tools to manually compare.
Yes please this is absolutely necessary. Are there any plans to implement?
This is basic functionality for any wiki, and absolutely required imo.
The point of a wiki is that it's editable by lots of people.
To counteract any problems this creates, version control is necessary.

Until this is available we'll be sticking with Confluence
Update on this please.
Not having a wiki version control and export to word versions are truly huge issues. This is an incomplete/unusable product otherwise.
Its pretty crazy that version history or edit history is not available on Teams Channel Wikis. This has been a limiter to teams at my firm adopting the Wiki tool.
yes please yes pelease
That's a really basic product feature for a business IT product. Without history and traceability a wiki is about as useful as a handful of post-it notes in a wind-tunnel.
