Include call history in chat
Am I the only one finding it painfull that the chat history DOES NOT include call logs?
I want to be able to reconstruct to whom I talked how long. As a workaround I started to use Skype again or quit the Teams calls and call back the people by phone.
In Skype this feature helped me a lot when I tried to reconstruct to whom i spoke on days where things became crowded.
Please implement that feature asap!

Why is this 3 years old and "on the Backlog" for over 18 months? This is UC 101!
it was already in skype for business - surely must be an easy port to get this feature into MS Teams...??
We need this. It's so hard to find all the calls I joined in.

There are a few things where I wonder why they are available for some chats and not for all, or for some users and not for all.
The call log is one of them: Group chats show them, 1-on-1 chats don´t.
Another example is participation lists in group calls: only the host seems to get those, which is weird as a default.
The issue I'm having is that group calls are not showing up in my calls history only calls to individual people. The history shows up on my teams app on my cellphone though. Seems like a glitch that needs to be fixed.
I would agree - it is disconcerting that, when you video call a person and talk then hang up that person is not the most recent person on the chat list - yet you have just "chatted" to them. Seems rather a large omission.
This seems to have been on the backlog for a while...is there any chance of this feature being added soon? It would be very useful!
Any progress with including call history in chat? Would be particularly useful if the call originated from the Chat

when will it be possible to see the "conversation history" in outlook, like it was/is possible for skype ?
Call history will not store any data (participants) if you were in a call with several people. Improvement to have daily business done, where teams should be intended for. (better collaboration)

I agree. This is a much needed improvement to the service. Currently, you can only see 30 days of call history, but there is no way to download it that I can find. Ideally, you could access your entire call history, print or download it into a spreadsheet. Also, be able to search the history by name or phone number To find a particular call.

For context, the mobile client has complete call history, the desktop client does not.
This is a great idea. It would be very helpful to track call time alongside chat messages.
This is very important.. especially after Covid 19 en telework!
It would also be useful to consider missed calls as "unread" chat.
Currently we need to go to "Calls" and then "History" to see who actually called.
I think it would be much better to display the corresponding chat contact as "unread" and add an entry to that chat.

Completely agree: need a full call log, no matter whether the call is started from a chat, or from a calendar event.
I agree - we need to be able to log all communications with students. At the moment we are creating logs in different places just to keep track. We really need this feature
