Change the profile picture for guest users in Teams
I would like to display a picture for guest users in Microsoft Teams as well as general licensed users.

Thank you for your feedback. The team is currently planning for a profile editing experience for Guests that will include changing profile images as well as updating display names. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

I am relieved to see that this situation is not just myself experiencing the same problem. My scenario is as follows:
* Accessing a DOD .cvr Teams channel via a GMail account
* Only my firstname.lastname (Guest) appears in the attendees sidebar with single letter in profile image space
* No ability to change my personal identity information nor add a profile pictureThank you for any attention on this matter.

So glad to see this moved to Planning. Thank You! This is really going to help everyone collaborate across (company) boundaries. The "Guests" are often as crucial as any company employee. Would be nice to be able to
- Change Name
- Add Photo
- And may be an Admin setting to remove the "Guest" Suffix added to all Guest Accounts -

Agree 100%. Would really like to have a profile pic as a guest. It’s even worse for me, my initials are BS!

I would appreciate this feature as well. It is so impersonal to have just your initials and Lastname, Firstname.

Feature would be a nice add-on to have a more personal touch when working in a team.

I am amazed that, as a guest on a Team, I am unable even to set my name, let alone supply a picture.
How is it possible that this has not been fixed yet?
Does anyone know when the so-called "profile editing experience" will be available?

It's possible to change the picture for an MS Teams internally but the guest does not see the image externally. Will this resolve that problem and if so when is this coming please? Thanks

You can update the photos for guest users through the Azure AD portal or with PowerShell.

As team owner and as an outside guest to my Customer's network, being able to utilize profile photos is necessary to complete "Team" experience, especially as my teams are global.
